About Jonna

Professional Dog Trainer

A lifetime of experience in  training & Loving dogs

  Jonna Spiller was born with an intense love for animals, particularly those of the canine variety.  She has raised and trained dogs from a very young age. She specializes in basic and advanced obedience skills and has also trained therapy dogs. 

  Jonna has also been a high school mathematics teacher for 29 years.  She has received many accolades as a teacher including being named Teacher of the Year for her district in 2011, 2017, and 2019, and Teacher of the Year for Region 10 of Texas in 2017. 

  In 2020, Jonna decided to combine her passions for dogs and her skills in teaching to become a professional dog trainer.  She attended CATCH Canine Trainers Academy and graduated in April of 2021 with Academic Distinction and an overall average of 98%.  Jonna’s professional program included the study of basic and advanced dog training skills, handling skills, and how dogs think and learn.  Jonna is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. 


Jonna’s purpose and passion

The driving force of Jonna’s work in dog training is to assist in the development of the owner-dog relationship by helping owners understand how to successfully communicate with their canine friend.  She believes in positive dog training that reinforces appropriate behaviors and eliminates inappropriate behaviors without introducing fear or pain.  Jonna is dedicated to helping establish an unbreakable bond between dogs and their owners that will produce a lifetime of joy for both parties.
